Update

Not a whole lot to update in my life right about now.

I got possession of my condo May 14th, yes quite a bit later than planned. I have sold it and will probably never be living in it.

I have a great job- back at the bank actually- and I am a Human Resources Consultant for CIBC. I love it tons and tons!

I had a new baby nephew just over a week ago- he still does not have a name though.

Hmmmm.... not much else to be written on here....

Okay so it's been awhile....

About Nine months actually since I last wrote on my blog. That's okay though because I don't write enough so I don't think anyone actually reads it.....

I am sure there is a LOT new in my life since I last wrote in.

I have three new baby nephews since my last update and another nephew or niece on the way - unsure of the sex of the baby so far....

My mom got Lyme disease from a tick in Conneticut last year and was out of commission for quite awhile. Luckily the Lord blessed her and it was diagnosed quickly and there was no long term damage and no brain surgery! She is back to her normal self now.

I went to Palmyra for the first time in my life this past September and it truly was an amazing experience! My neice Jaelyne, 10, and I took a day trip from Toronto together and went just the two of us. It was pretty neat to get to spend time with her like that- like we were two girlfriends. Scott and his family moved into a new house in Oakville Ontario so Ross, Natalie and Benson and I all went out to visit in Sept.

Ross and Natalie bought a new house in Panarama Hills here in Calgary and are moving in a week from now.

I bought a condo quite close to them and get possesion on Feb 26th- so far... we'll see about that!!

President Hinckley passed away today at the age of 97 after being President of The Church for almost 13 years.

I think that that should pretty much bring you up to date on everything in my life!!!

I will try and update more often- if anyone reads this... if not, it is a good summary for journal entries :)

Roadtrip!!

On thursday I am leaving for a roadtrip. We, being me, Jenn Lowen, Luiza Kulchetscki and Lona Pollock, are going to Utah for Conference! After that we are continuing on to Las Vegas for some good times and then on to LA for some even better warmer times.

I am superpumped excited! This week is busy with doing laundry and packing.

I will get home on April 9th. Work is crazy busy right now because our fiscal year end is April 1 so I am being slammed with meetings preparing the budget and marketing etc.. for next year. It will be nice to take a break from all of that for awhile. Once I get home only two weeks or so and then I am moving in with Jemaica Kane while she is home for the summer- I am so excited I can't wait! So we should have good times for sure!!

I promise I am trying to update my blog regularly but I guess I just don't feel like there is that much to update people on.

I still have yet to figure out how to add pictures but it is easy in facebook so if you want to see pictures of me go to www.facebook.com and look me up! I will add pictures on there once I get home from the trip.

I will probably have a LOT more to write after the trip- I will keep a random funny stories journal and share it with you all because guaranteed there will be some interesting stories- there always are with me and roadtrips.

Okay so I am apparently learning a lot these days on the internet. On sunday Jemaica convinced me to get "facebook" so I am on there. If you go to facebook.com you can try and find me. I don't know how actually but I am on there! I have put about 120 pictures on there in my album (cuz I can't figure out how to put them on here) and you can know what I am doing all the time (I update my status and tell you if I am sleeping, working, etc....) I am shocked by how many people are on there and my how many are members of the Church. Take a look.

Other than that all is good. I am going tonight to look at another house to buy so wish me luck!

Hawaii!

How could I forget? I went to O'ahu for a week and a half in November. It was amazing! I went with my mom since she had never been and wanted to go her whole life.

We had an ocean front room, rented a red sports car convertible (it was a Mustang) and did a ton of fun things. The best was the drive we took often from Honolulu on the LikeLike ( pronounced lee-k, lee-k) highway up to Laie ( pronounced Lah, E, A). It was a 45 minute drive, ocean on the right about 20 feet away, green green lush mountains on the left about 200 feet away (it's actually where they filmed Jurassic Park) and over 600 curves and turns! All in a convertible. Ah, good times!

Basically I decided I wanted to move there. I hung out with my friend Justin while I was there and he hooked us up to go to the Polynesian Cultural Center. It was amazing! I will post pictures from the trip as soon as I get them into the computer.

Perhaps I will look at enrolling into BYU Hawaii..... hmmmm........

Okay okay.. so I am bad at this

Alright I figured I was getting enough slack for not updating this that I should maybe get around to it.

I can't say there is a whole lot new in my life. Things with work are going well but crazy busy. I am having a lot of really interesting experiences and learning a ton from them which is always good. I am especially learning what it means to be a leader in the business world and how much you might have to put up with when you have a bunch of employees. I am certainly getting a lot of human resources exposure though so that's great!

I am trying to buy a house right now. I want to buy it and renovate it and then sell it again for a profit. In the Calgary market right now that is pretty difficult so it is getting a bit frustrating but hopefully I will get there soon.

Other than that I am just having a ton of fun playing with my friends, going to institute classes, getting ready for Best of EFY, and trying to improve and progress.

I am getting really ansy for the summer to come. I am ready to play volleyball in sand, go camping and watch the stars. I am heading down to Utah for a week at the beginning of April for General Conference for my Church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints http://www.lds.org/ or http://www.mormon.org/, and I am superpumped excited for that because good weather always comes to Utah by April.

I am going to be an auntie three more times by the end of July (Ross' wife Natalie, Scott's wife Laurel and my best friend Leticia) so that should be a summer full of fun and diapers- bring it on.
